The Lake District Tourist Guide Reccomends                                                                            Keswick Jazz Fest 2016
Thu 12 May - Sun 15th May

The weather’s going to be fine and sunny this weekend so if you’re wondering what to do with yourself, here is it. Get your RayBans on and some cool threads and head over to Keswick in the Beautiful lake district for the greatest Jazz Festival in the UK.

The beats starts on Thursday and run through Sunday so there’s plenty of time to settle down and lose some time amongst some of the best Jazz Musicians in the World today.  The Lakes are awesome this time of year when the first flushes of warm sunshine bring the water to life and there’s plenty to do with more than 90 inspiring performances over four days of soul stirring Jazz.

Music from the days when Jazz began - Jelly Roll Morton, Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong, the glory days UK jazz, fat and hip-swinging music of the New Olreans brass bands, Cajun style and a little bit of Jive thrown in or a bit of Gipsy. There’s  hot singers, hotter pianist and cool saxophones and brass sections that will blow your socks off.

Dance. If you can’t, then come and learn. Listen & join in with Jam Sessions. Come and see the Jazz Parade through the town. There's Jazz in pubs, clubs and Cafes as well as concerts in halls. So be there or be square daddio.

Three and four day stroller tickets for the 2016 festival and all pre-festival concerts can be booked through Theatre By The Lake's website, or by call the box office right now on 017687 74411
